These are sex positions found in the ancient Taoist texts regarding sex. The Tao is a collection of ancient wisdom rather than a single book. The collection was written over the course of many centuries, and some of the texts even predate the Kama Sutra. One of the central tenets of the Tao is that sexual energy can be used to improve health, harmonize relationships, and increase spiritual realization.
Like many other ancient texts on sexuality, the names given to the sexual positions reflect a colorful playfulness attached to the subject of sex to begin with.
These are some of the better known sex positions from the Taos.
Cat and Mouse Sharing A Hole
This position is very similar to the standard missionary position (though it wasn't called that in the Taoist writings).
Cicada on A Bough
This position provide little, if any stimulation to the female - though it is an excellent position for anal intercourse. An excellent idea is to place a vibrator underneath her in this position - it will stimulate her clitoris directly while he's fucking her from behind
The Mandarin Ducks
This is basically very similar to the standard spooning position.
The Dragon Turns
This is an excellent position for deep penetration, and works very well for guys with shorter penises. The White Tiger
The key to this position is that the female is resting on her elbows. This is like the doggy position, but with her leaning further down, the stimulation is usually more intense.
